SHIRLEY CHUNG

Shirley Chung is currently working towards being a board-certified Health & Wellness Coach via Wellcoaches and the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaches. Shirley will also be eligible to certify as a Lifestyle Medicine Professional under the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (partnered with the American College of Sports Medicine).

Shirley is contemplating a physical therapy program or a PhD in sports psychology or exercise physiology (human performance).

Shirley is a visual artist in both digital and traditional media for over 20 years. She has also worked with and supported instructors/students in educational multimedia/design.

Shirley volunteers in the local CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and enjoys training for activities such as standup paddleboarding, kickboxing, kayaking, and climbing. Shirley is a certified NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) personal trainer (and corrective exercise specialist). She is also studying for the NSCA’s (National Strength and Conditioning Association) strength and conditioning exam (CSCS).
